Backwoods is an owner and team operated snowboard and skateboard shop located in Auburn Maine. The brick and mortar shop first opened its doors in August of 2005. We are a team of snowboarders and skateboarders that have been working in the industry for over 20 years.

Our Mission

Our #1 focus since day one has been to give our customers the best experience possible. We love what we do and love watching people have fun riding snowboards and skateboards even more. Working with customers, brands, and resorts throughout each year we continue to grow and feel very fortunate to be a part of Snowboarding and Skateboarding. Passion drives us to spend as much time as possible riding the product we sell, and with this it allows us to be as knowledgeable as possible about the product we carry.
